What are vaginal pimples, good question, just exactly what are they. The more a young girl knows about the different types of vaginal conditions/infections that can happen to her, it better helps her understand more clearly why they occur but more importantly knows how to treat or prevent them.

There are a lot of bewildered young girls out there who haven't got a clue and looking for answers. My advice to all young ladies is to ask as many questions that it takes for you to be up on issues as such. Don't for one minute think you are being a nuisance, what you are being is, is responsible and looking out for yourself in regards to health. And for this you need to be admired for your sensibility.

About vaginal pimples: like in the name that is what they are "pimples" only around or inside the vagina instead of the face where we expect them to appear, hence "vaginal."

Some girls funnily enough take it in their stride when pimples appear around their vagina and take the necessary steps required to be rid of them, but when pimples are found on the inside of their vagina they become terribly frantic with worry. Whether on the inner or the outer it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference, it's a problem and one to be sorted. The body is covered in pores and where there are pores pimples can occur. Every skin complaint will have a reason for its occurrence so we need to look at the cause to treat the vaginal pimples properly. They usually are a result of an infected blocked sebaceous gland. Ingrown hairs can cause them too. If you have sited pimples regardless of which body part they are settled, it is not good practice to squeeze them, this can leave and opening for infection. If you have a habit of have squeezing your zits, stop now. If the damage is already done clean the area to prevent bacteria getting into the open spot or pimple.

You are not to panic just because your pimples look like them we see that come with sexually transmitted infections. If you haven't been sexually active and been responsible then there shouldn't be a reason to concern you're self over venereal diseases. Vaginal pimples are slightly similar to facial ones, however still not the same, but when it comes to treating either, the procedure is pretty much the same.

Before going any further I would like to put your mind at ease that you're not abnormal because you have genital pimples. This is a common problem in females. Vaginal acne is a skin disease, and developed by changes in the structures of skin that include sebaceous gland and hair follicle.

Reasons most likely for vaginal pimples/acne are:

Primary reason accountable for vaginal acne is narrowing of the hair follicle and hormone-driven excess production of sebum.

We link vaginal pimples mostly in teenagers and especially more so around puberty, but this doesn't mean they don't happen to others.

To clear up the problem we first need to make sure it is vaginal pimples and not genital warts or genital herpes. Once this has been established it is vital you keep the vaginal area clean and dry. It is essential that it stays dry around the nether region because harmful bacterium wollow in this type of environment (warm sweaty and moist.) You only require a little of mild non scented soap and warm water for cleansing the vagina and anus.

Medication varies for treating vaginal pimples due to severity or other; however treatment is usually taken by mouth. Oral medicine is namely tetracycline, erythromycin or tretinoin. Your doctor may even suggest you take birth control pills to help regulate unbalanced hormones. Another alternative which is supposedly said to be effective in helping rid vaginal pimples is acupuncture. Other specially formulated medicated products will help soften, clean, smooth and take down inflammation that might be present leading to healthy skin as a result. Named products are astringent lotions, oil removing pads and medicated bar soaps to treat vaginal acne. Depending on the case, prescriptive topical treatments like benzoyl peroxide might be suggested. These drugs include tetracycline, erythromycin and tretinoin which are more for treating severe cases of acne. Natural herbal remedies should be considered.

If you take precautionary steps now you might be able to avoid having to use or take any of the above mentioned.Start by

Genital warts, we have all heard of them but still the vast majority of people claim not to know "about" them. They are caused by types of HPV (human papilloma virus.) They appear on and in around the genitals as white or pink smooth bumps. They do come bigger and resemble a cauliflower floret all clustered together.

There over 100 different subtypes of HPV, but the number is lessened to 30 which affect the genitals. Not everyone infected will actually see warts. Some strains of HPV do not create them. More likely seen round the vulva or inside the vagina and on the cervix which can lead to bleeding? Not usual, but vaginal discharge can change. Experience of itchiness is not unusual. Warts are not known for causing pain, but anything can happen for the first time. If you do have pain with your genital warts see your GP. Your doctor will need to examine you, see this as a good thing to get to the bottom of your problem. When your GP is looking for the suspected warts and struggling to find them he/she will mix a solution of diluted vinegar. This will be applied to where the warts are assumed. The mixture will react on the skin making the warts whiten, making them clear to be seen. An internal examination of the vagina, cervix and/or anus may have to be carried out also.

Herpes simplex is a viral infection. It includes sores which appear on both the face and genitals. This particular infection is caused by one or the other of the two types that there are. It is also contagious

Type 1 we link to cold sores or fever blisters, and 2 the more serious of the two brings genital herpes. It is difficult to detect much difference between the two when it comes to appearance, but they do differ immensely in how they affect a person. Both viruses are similar in look but differ in other ways. Dissimilarities show in the proteins on the outside of the viruses. As with most conditions/disease symptoms vary. If you have blister like sores around the genitals then it could possibly be that you have genital herpes, however in saying this, it is best checked out, as other conditions bring similar symptoms like them that loom, and cause us confusion over vaginal pimples. Vaginal discharge change is not expected with this infection. Sometimes itchiness is mistaken for a yeast infection. It is the body's immune system that prevents and fights infection; however herpes is a condition that is with you through life as it cannot be completely rid from the body.

Vaginal pimples can usually be cleared up by popping them, soaking them in hot water and by keeping the area clean and dry. Ask your GP for advice before taking the matter into your own hands so as to speak. You mustn't confuse pimples with boils. A boil can present itself much like a pimple, however they are generally bigger and can be very painful indeed - just try squeezing one and you will see..

Did you know when you treat your own vaginal infection you rid vaginal odour at the same time.

Most likely a boil I just had one for 3 days kept sitting in really hot water and kept hot rags on it. Do touch it untill it pops. After it pops sit in hot water and squeeze it out. To make sure you get it all out . Get out of tub dry off area and squeeze until u feel it's all gone but u have to be quick when you get off because the hole will began to close.
