Dental care what does it include. Simply explained it is about looking after your teeth and gums. To keep teeth and gums healthy, and to help avoid being fitted with dentures at an early age then you must practice a proper daily oral hygiene, regular dental check-ups and stay clear of sticky sweet substances. You have to be extra careful these days after research came back with that some dental products we use to up hold good oral hygiene can in fact be harmful damaging tooth enamel. Speak to your dentist about the best medications for treating your mouth, teeth and gums.

Study showed that certain medications caused saliva reduction or dry mouth'. This condition is critical for normal oral hygiene because dry mouth brings many bacteria on the teeth and tongue, slows down the processes of de-mineralization and tooth enamel reconstruction, this way generating a good location and rapidly encouraging tooth decay. Also, saliva includes unique matters that can neutralize mouth acids which makes teeth decay. Talk to your dental surgeon if you would like to know more about the dangers involved with dental care.

Dental Care Tips to Keep Teeth and Gums Clean and Healthy

Remember that your teeth are the first thing people notice when talking to you. If you are having a conversation with someone, if they are not looking into your eyes, then they most definitely are looking at your mouth and maybe inside too. Teeth affect the appearance of your face and smile so it's vital to care for them. Maintaining good dental hygiene includes nothing more than brushing your teeth, flossing if necessary and visiting your dentist regularly. This is not much to ask of your time to attend to your teeth. Some people said they didn't clean their teeth because it took up to much of their time. Well let me tell you, if you lose your teeth and end up gummy then you better find the time buddy because meat can't be chewed, an apple can't be bitten, nuts can't be crushed, and neither can a stick of celery be nibbled. And should you try and attempt any of the above mentioned eating habits then you had better make time.

Not long after you have brushed your teeth, a thin, gooey layer of bacteria forms on the surface. This layer of bacteria is called plaque. If a sweet substance is eaten, the bacteria in plaque turn the contained sugar into the energy they need, producing acid at the same time. The acid softens and dissolves the hard enamel surface of the teeth (demineralization.) After time, frequent demineralization causes cavities to form in your teeth.

Brushing is the most effective way to remove plaque.

Use dental floss or inter-dental brushes to help rid plaque and particles of food from between the teeth and under the gum line. If food bits are left, they smell causing bad breath, Think dustbin with rotting food inside, not a healthy smell. Fluoride mouthwashes can help to prevent tooth decay. Some antiseptic mouthwashes reduce the number of plaque bacteria and help prevent gum disease.

My poem for those pearly whites

I'm a tube of toothpaste in my new plastic coat

I have fun everyday with my mate the sailing boat

The bath salts stand above me on a higher bathroom shelf

Alongside the pot pourri in a bowl made of delf

I am committed to teeth my great buddy friends

Who I battle to save right up to the end

And when my cap and I do part

I am ready to fight right from the start

My belly is given a light squeeze

It s now time for action, my aim is to please

I have to please 3 times a day

In my war against tooth decay

Once my belly's been fully crushed

My inners are layered along the toothbrush

Fierce I look all in white, and my back bone red

It's the backbone stripe that the germs dread

All ready and prepared for attack

In the war against my enemy plaque

I and toothbrush together we killed

While the mouth of the saved is now being swilled

"Discard" sticky sweets and eat an apple a day

To help prevent teeth rotting from tooth decay

If sweets remain because you can't discard

Then remember I'm here standing on guard

But if I can't help the molars I meet

Don't forget there's dentist down the street

And if he can't help then you have made a boob

It was your lack of co-operation in squeezing my tube.
