Beauty Mistakes - I think I can speak  for many women who at some time when applying their makeup has cocked up big style to an extent  where they end up either looking liking Coco the clown, or end up in hospital.  Certain cosmetics are the reason why we see as many casualties as we do treated in hospital for allergic reactions and infection, and the A/E room even fuller with women whose cuts are being bathed and tended to, or heaven forbid, stitched. When applying makeup you mustn't rush - more accidents occur through haste.

Every woman will have experienced a beauty disaster at some time like seeing pimples surface swollen eyes and smudged makeup.  It's usually issues of this sort that cause women to panic and rush to fix the problem without giving much thought to what product or solution they use to try and repair the skin damage. It is vital you know all about you're beauty products, but more importantly what ingredients are included in their making.

Beauty Mistakes Put Right

Mascara

Mascara is an essential beauty product women love; however some love it that much they go overboard and wear too much. This is one of the biggest makeup mistakes. An overload of mascara tends to form clumps which are most unappealing. You only need a light smidgen for the lashes to appear long and attractive.

Liquid Eye Liner

Liquid eye liner you may find difficult to apply than that of an eye liner pencil. Until you manage to master the technique used for applying liquid liner perfectly…stick with the pencil. You can spoil all other efforts like having to renew eye shadow or other if the liquid eyeliner is not applied correctly

Eye Shadow

Give some consideration to the color eye shadow you use. Practice with colors to find the right shade to suit. Look in the mirror to double check on the amount used and ask yourself have you used to much, is the color too bright, does it suit you at all. If you're not satisfied remove the eye shadow before other beauty applications are applied because it will mean removing the lot. Reapply another color till you're happy. The wrong shade of eye shadow can seriously damage you're image.

Eye Brows

Unshaped and un-plucked eye brows look terrible. It is vital the eye brows are shaped and plucked before eye cosmetics are applied. Eye shadow with stubble piercing through is an eyesore. Unless you have long bangs you won't get away with not plucking or waxing them. In saying that what if it's a windy day.

Lipstick

I don't know about you but wearing one color of lip liner and another color for the lipstick is not a pretty sight. Whoever set this as a trend should be sectioned. It's the most hideous beauty mistake that is ugly. I am sorry if this has offended anyone who endorses this practice, but I urge you to experiment without the two tone look and see the difference. It has to be the most unlikeable beauty mistake women make…don't be one of them.

Face Foundation

Foundation is supposed to even out your skin tones, not cover everything up. Once it's applied and should it look like a mask then you have applied way to much so rinse it off and reapply. Make sure foundation is applied to the neck as well as the face.

Acne

Okay so you have an ugly zit that's appeared out of the blue on your face and its nearly time to go out , so what, it's no reason to get yourself all worked up about it…what you do is get rid of it, or cover it up if time is an issue. What you must never do is attack the zit/pimple with your fingernails.

How to Mask a Zit

If a fresh zit/pimple has surfaced, most likely it doesn't have a white head yet. Don't be tempted in panic to squeeze because it'll increase swelling and redness giving you less time to treat more than just the zit. With or without a white head apply ice and "gently" squeeze the sides of the pimple with your fingers. Release pressure and apply more ice wrapped in paper towel for about 15 minutes to help bring down any inflammation. Follow this process with the below

If you've been crying or your eyes have watered through laughing or other and they show signs of swelling and puffiness, then hopefully you carry an emergency makeup kit with you to redo your make up if it has smudged. Things you should have on your personal for beauty disasters as such are

If you find yourself in a situation where this has happened then blot away smudged mascara or makeup.  There's no need for a full foundation application. Instead, apply a smooth concealer below your eyes and around your nose with a makeup brush. Pat pressed powder to even out the finish. The skin produces more oil if crying is a result of a stress related matter. If there is shine remove it by blotting the area with blotting paper, or tissue if this is all you have with you at the time. Remember, tissue tends to shred easily so blotting paper is your best bet. Apply off-white eyeliner to the inner section of your lower lashes to widen up the eyes.  Give the lips a coat of shiny gloss this will draw attention away from your eyes.

Treat tired eyes to a cool wash. Take a shower! The water is both refreshing and stimulating and will help tremendously in taking sleepiness away. If the eyes still appear droopy and tired then make them more alert as if wide awake with makeup. Apply light eye shadow over the whole of the eyelid then select a golden shade and apply that from the crease to the brow bone.  This color combination works wonders for tired eyes having them look wide open. Dark colors will have an adverse affect so stay clear of deep dark hues. Use white eyeliner under the lower lashes and curl the upper ones to widen the eyes. Apply brown mascara to finish the look but don't go over the top.

There is only one true solution for tired eyes and that is to catch up with the sleep that may have caused them to suffer.
