So Katie Price (glamour model Jordan) is off to Afghanistan to entertain the troops. Forgive me for asking, but why? She is never going to be the next irreplaceable Vera Lynn the "forces sweet heart." who had a voice of an angel. I don't doubt for one minute that some select few in uniform will make Katie Price their Pin-up for the back of their locker, but for how long. After time posters are pulled down screwed up and replaced. Vera Lynn is 92 and still going as strong as ever. Ex wife of Peter Andre, Katie Price can't even sing or dance so what type of entertainment are we talking here, with Katie Price's reputation no one knows what to expect?
Her request to go out to Afghanistan is already in process for early next year. What is she "thinking" she has 3 kids that need their mommy? Okay we know what the soldiers will be "thinking" when she performs (but it's what type of performance she has in mind that's my worry.) I know I mentioned her 3 children Harvey, Junior and Princess being left behind, but I haven't forgotten, and say prayers for our soldiers who too have kids and wives at home.
Is this good practice to allow Jordan to go to Afghanistan to entertain our soldiers distracting them from their job? These guys need to be on the lookout for big bombs and not big boobs? Hey Katie I have to ask, or should I say, I hope this stunt is not for scoring brownie points over Pete. Now when we talk Peter Andre then we re talking entertainer, who just like you Katie Price will never be the next forces sweetheart, but having said this I suppose this would depend on the sexuality of some that fight for their country. If I'm to be honest there sending the wrong person out to Afghanistan to be fitted with a bullet proof vest. I am all for entertaining our troops who are doing a great a job, and for them that did do a great job that are not with us now. (Let peace be them you and those they left behind.)
Nonetheless I can' help but smell a rat in Katie Prices motive for wanting to go. Katie doesn't have the qualities to fill the shoes of Vera Lynn who will always ever be the forces sweet heart (so why is she going.) Vera Lynn was loved by millions and it wasn't for the love of her breasts that earned her the love and respect that earned her the title of Dame. She was and always will be the forces "sweetheart." I can just see it now Dame Jordan loved by millions for breaking "sweet people's hearts."
If your motive for travelling to this war torn country is a sincere request then I pat you on the back, but if it's a promotional gimmick then you deserve a smack in the mouth. And I bet I am not alone in thinking this "and" I know plenty that wouldn't hesitate to do this whether the issue of the armed forces is involved or not. There now enough fighting talk is done.
It's good news to hear that Katie Price and Peter Andre have called a truce on the kids and sorted out their differences they had over custody.
There has also been mention that Katie has landed a two year contract with ITV2 to make another series of her fly on the wall documentary show. It is supposed to be different to what we have been watching what she has got up to in her last series. What didn't she get up too? So if this is supposed to be different then there could be an X rating stamp put on the show, because she sure wasn't shy in her last program in the way she dressed not leaving much to the imagination.
Katie prices henchmen have said they believe this deal will put one over on Pete. Does this not prove what I am saying about smelling a rat and scoring brownie points, and Afghanistan? These so called back stabbers said this will "dent his ego.' Hey hold up you pack of bullies, what has Pete ever done to you lot. You can't fault a man for running scared. When Pete starts throwing dirt then by all means throw it back, but he has been a gentleman in all this, and you know what I have just realized, nice guys don't dish the dirt. Peter Andre has proved he is no fake, and if he were given the opportunity to go and entertain our boys in uniform then it would be for that alone, and not to broaden his horizons.
I've said it over and over till I am blue in the face, it's not that I don't like Katie Price, in fact I admire her in a funny sort of way, but some of those ways I don't find funny. When I see other people suffer and take the blame for something brought about by her own foolishness just riles me, and therefore I feel the need to defend that person. Pete dumped you Jordan get over it.
When you get to Afghanistan I challenge you to cover your big boobs, remove your makeup and stand up on stage and entertain. This ultimate challenge will prove that without big breasts and all that slapstick there will be no cheers coming your way. If you can't sing or dance then not only is it Pete will have deserted you but the soldiers too

It was the year food rationing finally ended in the United Kingdom and Elvis started his music career that the Forces' Sweetheart, Dame Vera Lynn, last topped the charts. But 55 years on, at the age of 92, she has done it again, hitting No 1 in the album charts with We'll Meet Again: What an accomplishment for woman of this age. This is what real women are made of. You maybe top heavy Kate, but at the top of the charts you're not. People at the top are talented people. Wasn't Pete's new single he recorded and funded himself only a couple of week's back, only four away from being at the top of the charts. Looks like you lost a top man. And for those henchmen that said your latest endeavor will "dent his ego" I am afraid this is a case of mistaken identity of whose ego is dented.
Peter Andre loved you Katie for who you were but then found out what you are, now get over it and get on with your life so Pete can get on with his. I apologize for this attack on Pricey but I pray and will apologise if her trip to Afghanistan is for the genuine reason we are led to believe it is.
