Did Lucie Jones's departure tonight on the X Factor confirm the rumour that's been going around that Simon and Louis Walsh have conjured up a plot to keep the terrible twins, John and Edward Grimes in the X Factor? On tonight's show Jedward and Lucie Jones got the lowest votes out of all the finalists leaving them in the bottom two. The onus was on Cowell to say who stayed in the talent show or who was to be booted off. Was it a sneaky move made by Simon Cowell to let the final decision go to a deadlock, leaving it up to the public to decide knowing full well John and Edward have a huge following of fans? If this is the case then the theory that's spread like wild fire may well just be true
I was totally gob-smacked to hear that John and Edward are seen as the next Ant and Dec. This is getting silly now; there can never be another Ant and Dec, end of and no more said on the matter
Welsh lass Lucie Jones was voted off the ITV1 talent show the X Factor after public support saved the Grimy brothers following the sing-off. Of course Judge Louis Walsh was going to vote for his own act because he'd be silly not to, and fellow judges Danni Minnogue and Cheryl Cole both cast their vote in favor of Lucie, but had it not been for Simon, Lucie Jones would not be seen leaving the stage in tears. Had he done the right thing and kicked the boys off then I can say there was to be no tears shed by me, and I think I speak for millions of others. How could you do this Simon to Olly Murs, (your own act) who is now under threat from John and Edward even though he's more talented? But judging by what's going on lately in the show, debate has risen over is it a talent show anymore. If this is the case then Jedward will win the X factor 2009 hands down. Why would a mentor of his own act put it in jeopardy unless what people are saying is true?
18-year-old Jones deserved to remain in the contest and you know it. Jones was hurt after being booted off the show and said: "I'm gutted but the boys deserve to be here - they work harder than anyone." They may well work harder than anyone but that's because they need to, and secondly they don't deserve to be there. The 17-year-old Dublin boys have divided the judges' and public opinion, with critics saying they lack the singing ability to justify their continued presence in the competition. I couldn't have put it better myself if I tried."
On the boys performance last night Simon, you said to Jedward "It was possibly more entertaining than anything you have done before. Well done," You've change your tune all of a sudden. You disliked the boys from day one and made it clear to everyone, and them that you did. It was no holds barred as I remember with your nasty jibes about them not being singers and so on, and yet this day you praise them
If they couldn't sing in the beginning what makes them better singers now. What is in it for you and Louis if what people are saying is true? The X factor of late is fast becoming a farce and I am not sure this is a good thing. And you lot who run the show has to think the same. If not you're all either deaf dumb or blind.
Fun and entertainment site full of Jokes Gags and Games for them who find the X factor boring
i think that simon cowell is hypocrite. He has bee saying all along that its a singing contestnot an entertainment contest an Lucie Jones is obviously better than Jedward so why didnt Simon send them home? That was a bad deciion and i hope he regets it. Well done for coming o far Lucie i think you were great! From Rebecca Lewis, Llanelli, South Wales xxHi Rebecca there is a lot of people feel the way you do. Sadly I expect Lucie Jones isn't feeling to good. It was unfair what Simon did. And I agree with all you had to say.Keep well and thanks for commentingKacy
