If there's truth in what they say then why do I not fall into the Mensa category? Who am I to argue to with research but I can't get my head around, how having a good figure can make you bright. I am living proof of this…my bits are all in the right place and my waistline accentuates a figure to die for, well it did once, but I'm not the sharpest knife in drawer, and it's pointless arguing with me over this if you beg to differ.
Does being bright not come from learning in schools? Unless the US study has overlooked the small matter of how a woman feels on the day while doing their research. I mean, if you already have a curvy figure then there's nothing to take your mind off what you're doing, thus allowing the woman to take in what she's being taught and excel. But if a woman sits the same test and has a lot on her mind like worrying about not having a curvy figure, then her focus is taken away from the subject she's learning hence wrong answers and the outcome...classed as stupid.
US research suggested that ladies with curvy figures are likely to be brighter than their waif-like counterparts which could produce more intelligent offspring. There were 16,000 females both young and old involved which found the more voluptuous performed better on cognitive tests - as did their children. Apparently it also showed the bigger the difference between a woman's waistline and hips the better. I usually trust them in the know, but on this occasion I go with the minority who are not convinced by the findings, and went onto say ‘On the fatty deposits being related to intelligence front, it's very difficult to unsnarl that from other issues, such as social class, for instance, or diet.'
