Last night on the X factor we seen yet another dream shattered for rock singer Jamie Archer, and his chance of winning a million pound record deal gone through the window. Jamie Archer like Lloyd Daniels received the lowest amount of votes on the X factor which seen both lads stand side by side in the vote off. Stood composed waiting for the result Jamie Archer not only looked professional, but sang professional too. He was well "composed" throughout those silent moments waiting for the result to be announced by Dermot O'Leary to see if he were to stay in the X factor for another week. He sang on the night Queen Song "Radio GaGa," however composure and a having a great voice was not enough from saving Jamie Archer from being voted off the X Factor.

Despite all his efforts on stage and impressing Simon Cowell, Danni and Cheryl, but not much impression was made on Judge Louis Walsh. Is that something to worry over, I don't think so when his efforts include mentoring Jedward (twins John and Edward Grimes.)

After the judges were split 50/50 over the two singers in the bottom the decision was handed over to the public vote. Do I sense a type of Déjà vu, only not with such a drastic outcome as it was for Lucie Jones when we seen Simon Cowell let the public take the vote which made no sense for why he did what he did. I suppose there's a method in his madness.

Over the weeks I have enjoyed Jamie's performance on stage but never seen him as the real winner of the X Factor 2009 and this is meant respectfully to the rock singer. Viewers never got to see Archer's true potential which might have had us see Jamie in the final.

I'm here at present rewinding the video back of Joe McElderry's performance and you can't take it from the Geordie lad that he performed the best on the night bringing his choice of Freddie Mercury's song to life.

It's without doubt that Joe McElderry and Olly Murs have earned the right to go head to head to win X Factor 2009.

Olly Murs is so talented and I am at times torn between to the two. Judge Simon Cowell said Olly reminds him of Robbie Williams, whereas I see Will Young and Gary Barlow of (Take That,) who I'd like to let you know that before Gary Barlow hit the big time sat beside me every weekend in the Royal British legion where he was resident organist at the age of 16. I bet al lot of you are now thinking I could tell you a tale or two about Gary Barlow, well I can, but all good. What you see on stage as lead singer and song writer of boy band Take That and the gentleman he is just about sums him up.

Archer on his exit received an apology from mentor Simon Cowell for giving him bad song choices. It's a bit late now Simon - now Jaime has been booted off the X factor. Louis has often spoken of his dislike for Jamie's singing voice saying he is more a pub or karaoke act, so it was no surprise when he poted to save Lloyd. How wrong you are Louis...Karaoke singers don't do rock. Hey Louis what do you mean by your comment to Jamie about being a guy with a small voice and big hair. The show is not about hairstyles. Lets' not go down that road again about the X factor losing all its focus to what the show is really all about.

The public vote has us see John and Edward Grimes surviving yet another week. On hearing this do you say "YIPPEE" or YUCKY."

When presenter Dermot O'Leary announced it was Jamie Archer who received the lowest number of public votes, he appeared to take it well, just like I mentioned earlier, well composed, however his dream was taken away so that must have hurt..

Before the sing-off Jamie Archer and Lloyd Daniels joined all 12 finalists - current and past - to perform this year's X Factor charity single, a cover of Michael Jackson's You Are Not Alone. A song close to my heart and I expect it is for many others.

Jamie, I know nothing can take away whatever you are feeling at this minute, but something good has come out of this like meeting with the fantastic and legendary Brian May of Queen and Shakira. Over the past weeks on the X factor, even though not your mentor you may have taken a shine to the beautiful face of Cheryl Cole and her shapely body. But when you have the likes of Shakira that can move those hips faster than a wobbly jelly, and a body that's curvy then we are talking "WOMAN."

Wearing an asymmetrical Lycra bodysuit with sequined detail, Shakira seductively moved around on stage as she sang her new single "Did It Again." I bet every hot blooded male watching the show wished that she "would" do it again.

Jokes and Games for family fun this Christmas when the X Factor is over
