Brittany Murphy is dead. US actress Brittany Murphy has died aged only 32 from a heart attack. She was a budding star of the screen that starred in films such as Just Married, Clueless and 8 Mile. She will be sadly missed.
This is heartbreaking news for her family and fans. Everyone is shocked at her passing. You don't expect people to die from heart attack in their thirties but Brittany Murphy's death shows that they do. The US actress passed away on Sunday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center near Beverly Hills. Micheal Jackson is not long in his grave as with the same as Chris Henry who died at an even younger age of 26 years, and now to hear the shocking news of a young girl with a great future ahead of her to pass on also.
Brittany was wed to British screenwriter Simon Monjack. The couple were happily married and lived together in Los Angeles. She was born Nov. 10, 1977, in Atlanta. It is believed a call was made from Murphy's home in West Hollywood at 0800 to the LA fire department. As quick as the call was made and the speedy arrival of the medics Brittany Murphy couldn't be saved and died two hours later.
She had a happy childhood where she grew up in New Jersey but moved with her mom to Los Angeles to try and achieve her dream, and that was to act. Fortunately she did achieve her dream but sadly it was short lived due to her untimely death at the age of 32 on December 20 09.
She had many auditions looking for fame and her major breakthrough came when she landed a role in the sleeper hit Clueless and rose to stardom in 8 Mile alongside rapper Eminem.
Her on-screen roles slowly withered down hill; however she was still involved with the entertainment world where she voiced characters for the hit American television series, King of the Hill, and animated movie Happy Feet.
Before her death we hear she was expected to appear in Sylvester Stallone's film, The Expendables, due to come out next year. Of course this will never happen for the young starlet.
Before marrying Simon Monjack Brittany Murphy was linked to Ashton Kutcher who she dated, and who co-starred with her in the 2003 romantic comedy, Just Married.
Kutcher tweeted Sunday morning about Murphy's death: "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine." "My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon," his tweet said. I think a lot of people are going to be devastated on hearing the news of her death, such a sad loss of such a young life. Our condolences go to them she has left behind and that Brittany Murphy who was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m. Sunday Dec 20 2009 rest in peace.
