Dancing On Ice Stars Named - It's not over boys and girls those nights when we would sit glued to the TV to see who was kicked out of the jungle camp, off the dance floor, or booted off the X factor stage. "Dancing on Ice is back. You didn't think that when strictly come dancing, the X factor, and the best show I'm a celebrity get me out of here was over there wasn't more to come.
Did you think that TV viewing was now going to be whole load of crap with nothing to look forward too? Well it's not; the best is yet to come. Dancing on Ice is back on our screens in the New Year (10th Jan 2010) so brace you're for a show with some famous celebrities going on the ice to compete in the figure skating competition. We have had a lot of fun over the last few months, and at times some iffy moments when we felt near to breaking point when watching the finals of the last reality TV shows that have been on. Let the fun begin again, and let us have those moments which have us all on edge.This year's names of the Dancing on Ice stars tells us we are in for some action packed dance routines on the ice. It is expected to be the best ever show yet with top names going in as rivals to compete against each other on the rink. The competitors will start from scratch. Most of the celebs skating, may never have even worn an ice boot before, so be prepared because we can expect some funny side splitting mishaps and more to happen.
ITV the channel airing the show has confirmed the line-up of names for Dancing on Ice of which I think every fan of the show will be pleased about.
Are you ready? Sir Paul McCartney's former member of the Liverpool fab for the Beatles ex-wife Heather Mills will be competing in the show alongside Eastenders' Danniella Westbrook (Sam Mitchell.) Boyzone's Mikey Graham will also take to the ice to skate just like his band mate
Stephen Gately, who was a competitor himself in Dancing on Ice. Sadly Stephen Gately is not here to cheer Mikey on, as only a couple months ago he died from natural causes in his holiday home in Majorca, he was in his early thirties. Holby City's very own Jeremy Sheffield goes on the ice as another rival.The line-up also includes pop singer Sinitta and Gordon Ramsay's wife Tana, (I think we all would have loved to seen Gordon himself on the ice because you could bet your life on it that he would turn the air blue.) Also comedian Bobby Davro who recently had a role in Eastenders, and Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon.
Former Coronation Street and heartthrob actor Danny Young and GMTV doctor Hilary Jones are another two dancing on ice names. At least if someone falls on the ice and breaks a bone Dr Hilary Jones will be on hand to fix the break. In having said this if you wanted to win the competition would you fix the broken bones of your challengers. We will have to wait and see how hungry the Doc is to win.
Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies is also taking part, as well as The Bill's Gary Lucy and Hollyoaks' Kieran Richards.
There could be some explosive scenes not only the ice but behind the scenes too because, Inbetweeners' actress Emily Atak, who is Sir Paul McCartney's niece, completes the 2010 competitors which adds a controversial spin to the show as she takes on the musicians ex-wife Heather, who parted on bad terms with Paul. Heather Mills has back in time competed also in strictly come dancing where she did well. Heather Mills long before marrying Sir Paul lost a leg in an accident but it hasn't stopped her from dancing on the floor and it's not going to stop her from dancing on ice either as she is named one of the Dancing On Ice Stars.
Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton is replacing Ruthie Henshall on the panel of judges alongside Olympic medallist Robin Cousins.The dancing on Ice series returns to ITV1 on Sunday 10 January at 6.45pm. The show is following behind reality TV show Big Brother which starts on January 3rd 2010. If you're a big brother fan then the line up is magic of those going into the BB House? Dancing on Ice Winner 2008 was young Ray Quinn who took the title. Let's get Christmas over and let the New Year in and then get down to business, organizing our life to evolve around yet another TV Reality Show. It's a great life ain't it?
