Happy Holidays Everyone - Mark Wahlberg & The Lovely Bones Star Susan Sarandon Relationship Over?

Happy holidays everyone. Do you think Hollywood actress Susan Sarandon and her partner of 23 years who have called it a day will be happy right now. Sarandon and Tim Robbins who have two children together have ended their relationship after more than two decades together, it was confirmed today. Hollywood star Susan Sarandon and actor Tim Robbins said that they had already separated over the summer, and felt the time is right to let everyone know of their decision to end their relationship.

Sarandon, 63, met Robbins 12 years her junior, 51, on the set of their 1988 film Bull Durham. No reason has ever been given why they never married. It could have something to do with not having the time to getting round to it because it certainly wouldn't have anything to do with not being able to afford a wedding. And there's no possibility either that they didn't love one another because you can't live with someone for 23 years and have two kids together and not love that someone, however I believe you can fall out of love, and instead like that certain person, and this seems to be the case here. At least their split will have them both avoid what comes with divorce.

Susan Sarandon starred in many films and best known for her roles in, Thelma and Louise and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. She also won an Oscar in 1996 for her work in Death Row drama Dead Man Walking. The film was directed by Robbins, who went on to win an Academy Award for his performance in 2003's Mystic River.

Sarandon before shacking up with Robbins had a daughter Eva Amurri, from a previous relationship who is 24 years old. She had two boys with Tim Robbins, Jack, 20, and Miles, 17.

The actress recently attended the Royal Film Performance in London of her latest movie, "The Lovely Bones". Susan hasn't long returned from Sweden where she accepted a career achievement prize at the Stockholm Film Festival.

I bet she was brought up on leeks and pasta.

Her Latest Film

Mark Wahlberg one of the stars of the movie admitted to crying off set while making new movie The Lovely Bones.

The film also co stars Rachel Weisz as well as Susan Sarandon, it tells the story of a murdered girl looking down on her family.

Wahlberg in an interview: "said he would grab his daughter and hold her tight, and would start crying. She'd be like, 'Daddy, what's wrong?' She just wanted to play. "I would try to talk to her about taking care of herself and not talking to strangers. She was three at the time. But, thankfully, I had another movie to go to that helped me get out of that." The Lovely Bones is scheduled for release in January

No doubt Susan Sarandon and ex partner Tim Robbins will have had their reason for splitting up. It would be sad if they were reasons that could have been sorted, however with what has been said it looks like it's over for good. When going your separate ways may you still be friends as 23 years is a long time to let go of.
