The Rev is dead - James Sullivan dies before having chance to let the New Year of 2010 in. It was announced on the 28th December 2009 that drummer James Owen Sullivan of "Avenged Sevenfold" band was found dead in his Southern California home (Huntington Beach) at around 1 p.m.
How many more deaths are we to hear about before the year is out. I have never covered so many deaths of famous people in such a short space of time (Brittany Murphy, Chris Henry two to name and more.) If I didn't know any different and with all the deaths of late, it seemed these folk were in a queue, maybe not of their own choosing, to go on and meet their maker. So many people dying at such a young age, and so many loved ones left behind to do all the crying, that comes with losing someone you love dearly.
The Rev James Owen Sullivan was born February 10, 1981 and died December 28, 2009. He was a talented drummer and great back-up vocalist for the group "Avenged Sevenfold."
He was married to Leana MacFadden aka Leana Silver who will be in mourning after the loss of her husband. Orange County Coroners office was investigating Jimmy Sullivan's death, with initial reports suggesting his death was from natural causes. Sudden passings whether that person be famous or not will always include an investigation to the cause of death. So making assumptions at this point of how Jimmy died is not good.
His wife Leana Noelle Silver was born on February 13th, 1982 making Jimmy one year older than her. It's all so sad, a widow at 27 years old. The people involved with the world of music has just seen the passing of one the worlds greatest drummers.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family say many of his loyal fans. Jimmy Sullivan more known under the name of the Rev died 28 December 2009. Funeral arrangements of Jimmy Sullivan will be given at a later date when the true details of how he died is delivered from the coroners office. Jimmy better loved and admired as The Rev and drummer of "Avenged Sevenfold deceased R.I.P.
