Wedding Locations – Have you always longed to marry in some other place than your home town like in a foreign country, but always worried about how much it would cost. Getting married abroad not only includes a lot of hassle it can be quite expensive too depending on the destination.

Whether you're a spring bride summer bride or whatever the season you have planned for getting married, if you want to marry your true love beside the beach in the UK then you can. No more need to worry over the price of plane tickets and how you are going to get to the airport and that of your wedding guests too, because now it's all happening here in Britain.
Wedding Locations
Forget the Las Vegas style wedding with Elvis Presley conducting the marriage service. And as for marrying in hot sunny Florida, think again, as the heat will cause your mascara to run and we don't want that now do we.

Have you considered other places around the world to have your wedding, if so, it's just as expensive to marry in Italy Paris, Rome, Dominican Republic, Seychelles and the Caribbean as it is in Las Vegas or Florida. For half the cost you can wed in The UK with the same offerings as the above named countries. Couples can now exchange their wedding vows in Blackpool.

You heard right "Blackpool." Blackpool is a famous and hugely popular holiday resort in Britain, and it's only just a matter of time before the yanks are flying over here to tie the knot. Who wants a glitzy Las Vegas wedding when we have our very own Blackpool illuminations on our doorstep? Vegas attractions aren't all that in comparison with Blackpool and everyone here in the UK knows that, right girls and boys, or should I say future wives and future husbands.

The beach resort of Blackpool already boasts a great promenade with bingo halls and a multitude of colourful arcades and plenty of donkeys if you love a Neddy ride, so you could say this seaside holiday resort is hot on the heels of Las Vegas. Okay, maybe not as many light bulbs to light up the streets, which I believe to be over a million in Las Vegas, but Blackpool is just as bright and glitzy with fewer bulbs to change. We British aren't stupid you know.

We can expect in 12 months time (2011) to see the first exchange of wedding vows take place in a new venue hall purposely built for weddings/marriages. Couples getting hitched will soon be able to marry their true love in a wedding ceremony beside the seaside in a £2.7 million scheme at the UK's most popular beach resort.

In summer work is scheduled to go ahead to get the venue ready for 2011. Plans have already been accepted for work to commence on a solid timber wedding venue on Blackpool's promenade with the initial ceremonies likely to be held in spring 2011. Will you be the first spring bride to marry in Blackpool? It's worth considering this location to get wed because all the entertainment you could ask for is here on your doorstep.

Your guests can ride by tram or by donkey to get them from A to B. There will be no problem putting your wedding guests up for the night as Blackpool is riddled with hotels and guest houses. Blackpool is a well loved hotspot for stag dos and Hen parties also.

The wedding hall will have the Blackpool Tower as a backdrop and is part of the town's £14.3 million Tower Festival Headland assignment.  All has been carefully planned and catered for in the building's design and structure. The building aside from the .indoor hall where wedding services will be carried out there is also an outside roof terrace where you can toast the newlywed's weather permitting that is.

A spokesman for the project said: "Many couples long for a beachside wedding but often can't combine their dreams with guest requirements. Now they can have the best of both worlds.

It's sad for the girls who in the past longed for something like this but ended up getting married in their local church. How gut wrenching. Hey girls, who now a little older and missed out...ever thought of renewing your vows. Why not ask you're better half to marry you again for the second time and have your dream wedding by the beach.

The man at the top and in support of the project said "I'm very pleased Blackpool will be able to offer an innovative setting for couples wanting to marry in a venue with 'wow' factor. Imagine that girls a "wow wedding"

Everything has been taken into consideration to make this wedding venue popular among couples who can't afford to travel abroad to marry. The setting and the location is ideal, and having all wedding amenities it will make any brides dream come true at an affordable price."The new building will make a great talking point and an impressive addition to the promenade. We believe while under construction only sustainable building materials will be used to help reduce carbon emissions.

Without doubt it's going to be a much-adored landmark on the coastline in more ways than one." While this is true Blackpool tower will remain the favourite sightseeing attraction in Blackpool. Why not watch the sunset go down on your wedding night from Blackpool Tower. We are talking Blackpool here so bring an umbrella to be on the safe side.
