Food is food and people love to eat what is put in front of them if they are hungry. I think what you are asking is, what type of baby shower food is most suited for a get together of this nature for friends and family. Baby shower food can be plain and simple, or if money isn't an issue then you can pull out all the stops and go mad with the most expensive eats and drinks.
Are you working with a budget and worried about the price of baby shower food. Let me tell you that it doesn't have to cost the earth to hold a baby shower party with a great variety of good tasty foods, in fact some of the best baby shower parties are done on a budget.Have you decided what you want? Is it to be a running buffet where people can help themselves to the food, or will you fill plates with baby shower food and hand them to each person, or are you going to prepare a hot meal, like a beef stew or curry with crusty bread to warm their bellies, if the baby shower is held in the cold months. Does the thought of a pot stew boiling away on the cooker shock you, well it shouldn't?
