Are you overweight and sick of people calling you a frump because you're fat? Are you embarrassed over your size and believe you look hideous in the clothes you wear. Remember it is you that is thinking this. Not everyone out there is heartless and thinks of you as a hideous fat frump. I agree there are merciless people who don't care whose feelings they hurt, but you have to be strong and ignore the nasty taunts and jibes.
You need to dress to compliment the body parts you are having a problem with. Get the style right and you will get attention alright, but in a nice possible way.
If you have a fat bum you are displeased with then take the attention away from your bottom. This you can do by dressing up the top half of the body. Yes but what do you do if the onlookers eyes drift downwards in the direction of your booty, you are not to worry that's what. By wearing the right clothes to make your bum look small or a lot slimmer the people with roaming eyes won't see you as having a fat bum. Most common parts of the body women want to cover, or in a lot cases hide, is a flabby tummy/bottom.
What to wear? Stylish clothes for fat girls and women
Remember, even the trendiest of clothes that help make fat bums look smaller or help cover a fat belly will never have you feel or look good if they are uncomfortable. The key to looking good includes emphasizing your best assets and cunningly disguising the flaws, but most importantly staying comfortable throughout while doing this. Selecting the right cut of garment, colours and prints can be effective in many ways, and one of those is to help you look slimmer than what you are.
Fashion hints on stylish clothes to help disguise a flabby stomach, wide hips or big bottom
If you have always worn shift dresses or as some call them the tent frock, then it's time for a wakeup call. Shift dresses are a no go they tend to make you look bigger, and have people cop on to you hiding something such as fatness. Work with your size and places that's fat. Wrap dresses also allow you to cover the tummy tastefully. If you are going out to dinner and would like to wear a maxi dress then pick a close fitting one rather than a maxi dress with a baggy cut. Baggy is not the solution for saggy. Saggy skin around the stomach can be sorted with the right style of clothes
Be wary about skirts because the A-line skirt can make the bum look bigger, and this is what you don't want. The best design which is much more ideal for the plus size woman is a flared skirt that just skims the bottom and hips. This will draw attention down towards the lower legs rather than to the waistline.
You will be surprised how the upper part of the body if worked with in a fashionable way can make a huge difference to the bottom half. When you are buying garments for up top - choose wide slash-neck T-shirts because they help balance out the width of the hips and bum. Another popular style is fitted smock-style tops that float over the waist, but pick one that's close fitting around the bust to avoid the look of a heavily pregnant woman.
Blouses with a shirt-tail hem will slightly curve down over the troublesome tummy. Tip: If you have big hips then this style is not for you, Ruched tops help conceal belly flab, and longer wrap styles clinch the waist and fall freely over the stomach.
A lot of stout women avoid wearing pants/trousers, why? If you're plump it doesn't matter, you can still wear pants and look fabulous. Choose a stylish tailored pair of trousers made up of a design to suit your size and shape. A quality pair of pants can actually give you shape and have you appear more curvy and slim. Wear loose fitting wider-legged trousers, flared or boot-cut (not baggy.) This particular style of pants creates a fabulous balanced outline than straight leg trousers. Don't wear tapered trousers.
Buy pants designed with a low waist rather than have a pair you have to pull tight around the waistline. Doing this can result in ripples of fat hang out over the waistband? Side fastening pants are a better bet than zip-fronted trousers because they decrease the look of your bulge around your middle. Obese women need not shy away from latest trends. All the woman needs is confidence to pull off their new outfit that they may be dubious about wearing.
Some tips for big women on what not to wear. Of course it's you're prerogative to wear what you want, however the suggestions below is just an awareness pointer of certain styles that can do you an injustice making you look fatter.
- Be careful with Jeans as they highlight the fatty areas of the lower part of the body.
- Halter tops are not suitable either because not designed to cover fat bellies and sides.
- Plus size women should avoid horizontal stripes
- Fashion accessories are also important dinky handbags and fine jewelry can make you look bigger.
- Stumpy platform shoes will not take place over the stiletto for giving the leg shape and slim them down
