Six pack abs – I'm having none of it, I don't believe for one minute the guy who say's he wouldn't want a physique that turns heads. I don't mean a body looking like the Michelin man but of men like Bruce Lee and Van Damme. Every bloke I know wants muscles in the right places and yet they do nothing about it to get them.
The vast majority of men/women have rippling flesh but not of the good sort. If flesh is to ripple (ripped) then let it but six times around the middle (core) to form the perfect six pack abs.
Are you stressed out after trying nearly every trick in the book to get a flat stomach or six pack Did your attempt involve going on a diet, taking up exercise or maybe pushing yourself to the limit with a rigorous workout routine, with no results. Don't lose heart because this can be achieved. Don't beat yourself up and think yourself a failure because no change in your body. Maybe the way you went about it was wrong, this happens all the time. With the right workout and professional guidance then six pack abs can be gotten.
The look and build you want doesn't just happen, but putting in the required effort will see you with a physique sexy masculine body to die for. Perfect abs is the outcome of a lean, well-sculpted midsection, and is the ultimate indication of peak fitness. Some guys are fortunate and born with low body fat levels and great-looking maintenance-free abdominal muscles, but then we have them that aren't. If you already workout in the gym, chances are you've already got six pack abs. The problem with a lot of men is - they don't realize they have great abs due to them covered with a layer of fat which needs to be gone?
Hints on six pack abs
To get lean abdominals then be careful with what you pop in your mouth. Proper eating is important and to get a good looking body then eat about 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. Foods in your diet to help do this are lean meats, chicken, turkey, fish, eggs, milk, protein drinks, protein bars, etc washed down with plenty of water daily. Get plenty of fresh vegetables down you. Eat starchy carbohydrates (brown rice, potatoes, yams, oatmeal, and high fibre cereals.) Go easy on fat intake and bypass "junk food" eateries no matter how tempting. Eat small snacks every couple of hours. Choose fresh fruit over sweet foods and toffees but in moderation. To get rid of stomach fat you have to be persistent. Too fall at the first fence (give up) can topple you from continuing.
A good and enjoyable way to burn calories and lose body fat is to do aerobic exercises. Join an aerobics class. Aerobic exercise classes are vastly popular among people wanting to burn calories and lose body fat to keep their body fit and in shape.
If possible include aerobic exercise 3-5 times a week for 20-60 minutes to improve overall fitness. Of course if you're heading for the athletic build and shape with six pack abs, you will likely have to put more effort in than the suggested time above. Walking, jogging, sports, treadmills, elliptical machines, and cycling are fabulous types of aerobic exercises.
Cardio Exercises
If you have surplus body-fat on your midsection, then you have to work on this to get shut of it, as it'll make it difficult to see how well your abs is developing. Remember, going over the top and doing crunches and sit ups in extreme numbers will not burn fat from your stomach. Cardiovascular exercise is the best way to burn off unwanted body-fat. Weight training builds muscle and cardio burns fat. Allow30 minutes 3 times per week for cardio to lose body-fat.
A common mistake people make is they think the fast way to get six pack abs is to train the abs daily. This is not ideal and won't give rapid results because muscles need time to recover and grow. Training can cause muscle damage and in return they react by getting bigger and stronger. Exercising the abs every day doesn't give the abdominals time to settle and grow. Having said all that, the abdominals recover quicker than most muscle groups in your body.
Resistance exercises are best effective and give results. Resistance exercises come various but some of the best to consider for the abs include
Incline bench sit ups:
When you're comfortable and ready you'll be able to carry out more than 15 reps per set. And with good form then hold a weight plate to the chest to add resistance. What you need to bear in mind is you are not invincible when training in the gym so you are not to go mad, as you can seriously do yourself some damage if you don't know what you are doing. If you're working towards six pack abs then it would help to have an expert give guidance during workouts.
Leg Raises:

Cable Crunches:

Train the waistline
Crunches are all well and good for training the waistline. But to achieve full development the upper abs, lower abs, obliques, and lower back should be trained also. A well developed waistline helps strengthen the whole body, so now do you see the importance of training the waistline because it is your mid section that stabilizes your body during your exercise routines or any physical exertions.
An effective exercise for the lower back is the Hyper Extension: To add resistance hold a weight plate to your chest. The side bend exercise is effective for the obliques - add resistance using different dumbbell weights.
If you want to achieve that ripped six pack abs look, then think more in the direction of developing your abs and core muscles, and lose weight and body fat
To successfully develop abs muscles do stretching exercises that help your spine
and hips. Bad posture and no suppleness, especially in the lower back can mess with abdominal muscle function and avert abs development. Stretching exercises for the hips, legs, and spine are a must for assisting abs development. To develop ab muscles then do ab exercises and flexibility exercises for your spine.
You can do this but make sure you get the advice of a fitness trainer or GP before exercise. If you are persistent and achieve those six pack abs then no more having to suck in that gut to try and look good.
