Are you having a problem trying to think of something special that's romantic to give as a gift to your sweetheart, or, are you looking to do something different and stuck for romantic ideas on things to do for him/her this Valentine's Day (February 14th)
Like we said these are expected Valentine gifts so therefore no surprise and everyone loves surprises of the good sort. If you want to give your girlfriend the best Valentine gift, or boyfriend an even more fabulous Valentine present then it has to be different. Let your chosen token of love talk the talk and make your sweetheart feel loved and wanted.1. Candlelit Dinner - I expect you're thinking what's so different about a meal for two eaten by candlelight, is this not an expected thing that most loving couples do on February 14th? A romantic dinner for two is I agree expected an a common practice on Valentine's Day, but it can be different. I bet in the past you have always wined and dined together in your favourite restaurant. Well why not change the eatery and cuisine. If you have always eaten Chinese then opt for Italian, Indian or other. Travel to the next town and book a table for two in a restaurant for a change of scene. Stroll hand in hand along the streets in the new location and take in some of the culture about that town. Book into a hotel for the night and enjoy the rest of the evening doing what is "expected." If due to some unforeseen circumstance the expected is prevented then you can always talk about what you learned from the new town you visited
2. Call your local radio station and arrange for the DJ to announce you're undying love for your girlfriend or boyfriend and have the music man play his/her favourite song
3. Gift your girlfriend this Valentine's day a piece of furniture that she will love. Buy something you will both enjoy using like a four poster bed they don't come more romantic than that. A fabulous Valentine gift to give the love of your life is various dressing table accessories, such as brush and comb set, assorted fragrances and perfumes and cosmetics along with a new girlie dressing table with mirror for her to sit her goodies on.
4. The best Valentine gift to give your boyfriend on Valentine's Day is something for his car; hey hold on a minute what is romantic about giving something for a car. Don't tell me at some time you didn't do some intimate romancing in that car; if this is so then you owe it to him. Make sure a car blanket is on your gift list in case on this most romantic but chilly night of the year you may end up on the back seat.
5. Have a special telegram delivered to their house
6. Set up a surprise party inviting his or her best friends to celebrate. Arrange for white doves and plenty of love heart shaped balloons to be part of your Valentine celebrations
7. "Don't" send your partner flowers on Valentine's Day. Let them pick them themselves. How about they pick a bunch of tulips in Amsterdam. You can get cheap flights to getaway online. Aside from picking flowers pick up two airline tickets on a last minute deal saving you money to spend on more gifts. You can both go Dutch on this romantic trip (excuse the pun) if you are in a long running relationship. A weekend in Paris or Venice is romantic
8. You still have fourteen days to arrange and air balloon ride for you both. Or you could have your sweethearts name with a message of "I love you" on a banner flown over by plane, or placed alongside a landmark in town for all to see. Get permission for this as you don't want to spoil the moment.
9. Make a video of yourself telling him or her how much you love them and thank them for being part of your life.
10. Arrange for her to have a portfolio done, and have the best photograph framed as a keepsake of your Valentine
11. Boys and girls love animals so you could gift them a pet such as a kitten, puppy, parrot or hamster. Before a romantic gesture of this sort is given you must make sure that the pet is wanted, and that the person receiving the animal has the amenities to house it, and time to look after the pet
12. Go along to your baker and have them bake a Valentine cake in the shape of a red heart with your personal message written on top in icing
13. Is it romantic to bathe naked together in a tub with lit candles scattered around the room, you're telling me it is. As we are all aware after a while water goes cold and will put a dampener on things (get my gist) so why not enjoy your time in the tub filled with foam or sticky cake cream, and should any get on your face you can lick it off each other. Remember sticky cream is a great reason for you both to shower together at any time of the day, or whatever other day you feel like using sweet cream. Make sure any creams and foams you choose to use are safe.
14. Why not reserve two seats in the back row of the cinema to watch a movie. Speak with the manager of the cinema about having a Valentine message scroll down the cinema screen during the adverts.
15. Have a billboard erected outside their place of work with that special "I love you" or "will you marry me" message.
