Everyone has a right to their own personal opinion on the situation, and as how John Terry should be punished for his wrong doings, but I stand my ground when I say, if what he does in his private life doesn't interfere with his game then let things be.
Okay there are a lot of heartbroken people involved here like his wife, but from this she will have learned the sort of guy she really married and can now kick him to the kerb to avoid further humiliation. A leopard never changes it spots so they say, so it's up to her to make the decision of staying with him or not.
If John Terry can still kick a ball into the net and a good leader to take England through to win the world cup then leave home alone.
Fabio Capello flew into the UK amid continuing speculation that Terry may have to quit his role as the side's skipper just months ahead of this summer's World Cup finals in South Africa. What they should be doing is not sack the guy but offer him counselling. I have never religiously followed John Terry who plays for Chelsea, because being a Liverpool supporter purely because of Steven Gerard makes it not right for me to cheer on the enemy, however Terry is a good footballer and knows the game inside out, and we need the likes of him up front with our boys. Okay so he has been caught in some other woman's bed, but does this give us the right to keep on persecuting him. Why don't we go that extra mile and tar and feather him. Remember, "He who is without sin cast the first stone."
I hope Fabio Capello makes the right decision and puts football first when making judgement, or should I say passing it when he meets with John Terry. I have always said if there were no dirty women there would be no dirty men, so I say even though he is not innocent a huge chunk of the blame should lay on that of the scarlet woman, that's if she can move them who lay on top of her aside, to take some of the burden
John Terry has made no announcement regarding his captaincy, which was cast in doubt following claims that he had a liaison with the ex-partner of former Chelsea and current England team-mate Wayne Bridge. The Football Association has made it clear that Capello alone will decide the 29-year-old Chelsea defender's fate. He is understood to be eager to have the captaincy issue settled before he travels to Warsaw for the qualifying draw for the 2012 European Championships this weekend.
Vanessa Perroncel the woman in question is believed to have been offered up to £250,000 for her story about her fling with John Terry. I say she shouldn't get a penny we already know that she slept with John Terry, so what more can she possibly add that would be of any interest, other than something like he has a little willy or doesn't know how to use it or whatever. At this time it's all about what's good for the goose and all that, so if Terry is taken from the position of captain of the world cup team then let's not have her laugh all the way to the bank.
The allegations relating to his private life came to light after a gagging order was lifted by Mr Justice Tugendhat at the High Court in London on Friday last week.
I being a Liverpool supporter should have a big grin on my face because there's every possibility now that Steven Gerard may step into John Terry's shoes as England captain, but I can't bring myself to do this because at the end of the day he is a great footballer and deserves to be England captain. I hope he and his wife can get through this and go onto patch things up, David and Victoria Beckham did, sadly Tiger Woods still has this to do, that's if it ever happens. It's not over John Terry so don't give up. You may have lost a lot of brownie points for your messing around but that's nothing in comparison to the loyalty points you earned over the years.
