Jose Mourinho - Chelsea knocked out of the Champions League, who would have thought. You know what they say may the best team win on the day. Am I sad to see Chelsea beaten and lose to Inter Milan, maybe not half as much as the Chelsea fans themselves? But I know what they are feeling after seeing my own favorite team (The Reds) Liverpool knocked out of the Champions League many moons ago - so I know guys that something like this hurts.

Former manager of Chelsea Jose Mourinho, not only at one time worked wonders for Captain John Terry's team, but has now shown he worked wonders for Inter Milan to, of which he is now manager.

There was no animosity between old team players and their ex manager at the start of the game but I can't say there isn't now.

Jose Mourinho engineered a bold show in which Internazional created the best part of the chances. A goal from them was overdue before the outstanding Wesley Sneijder released Samuel Eto'o twelve minutes from the end and the striker shot emphatically beyond Ross Turnbull. Watching play was like game set and match at this point.

When Chelsea forward Didier Drogba was sent off for taking a kick at Thiago Motta in the 87th minute, would it have made a difference to the Chelsea and Inter game? I don't think so.

Why did he have to go? Jose Mourinho's placing at Stamford Bridge had become shaky in the early autumn of 2007 because his realistic and almost world-weary style was no longer satisfactory to the owner, billionaire Roman Abramovich. Is Roman having second thoughts about sending him packing, he could do after tonight's defeat where he saw his team lose, and he may even cry a few tears.

Last night I watched Liverpool beat Portsmouth 4/1 which has given me heart because there was time there I was about to change color of the team I was to support from Red to Blue. Thankfully after seeing Liverpool win their match, I won't be crying tonight.

It's sad Chelsea is out of the Champions League, but one team has to lose and it could have easily been Internazional, but tonight it was not to be, it was the boys in blue that were taken down.

All you Chelsea fans chin up it's not the end of the world, you have a great football team that will bounce back and go onto win other trophies. There is always next year and plenty of other cups to win and because you are Chelsea you will be winning one of them.

Chelsea out of the Champion League who would have thought? I have a sneaky feeling Jose did.
