Penis Discharge
The hole at the tip/head of the penis is the opening of the urethra. If infection is present in the urethra then a typical symptom is discharge.
If a man suffers from non-specific urethritis then it's likely he'll experience discharge because this condition is commonly linked with this specific symptom. Urethritis' explained means, irritation of the tube; whereas non-specific' means that it's hard to know the correct cause. Discharge with NSU is normally clear and more serious in the early hours of the morning. Patients can find peeing uncomfortable, and will likely suffer slight discomfort (irritation along the urethra inside the penis.) NSU is caught through sexual intercourse. Various sorts of bacteria can be accountable; about 50% of cases are caused by Chlamydia and approx 40% are caused by other bacteria like (Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma).
I guess for some men who are reading this, the condition below is one you were hoping not to see on the list as a cause of penis discharge, well it is, and if you have had unprotected, then its best we look at this STD in case it's the cause of your problem
Gonorrhoea is caused by the bacteria called Gonococcus, and is a sexually transmitted disease. Discharge and pain when weeing are two common symptoms. Unlike the usual "one" colour discharge (clear) gotten with an NSU, Gonorrhoea discharge can come varied yellow, green, white, cloudy or clear. Gonorrhoea symptoms can be that slight they could easily be overlooked, or there could be a great amount of discharge. This STD can spread to the testicles, causing pain, swelling and redness.
The urethra can become inflamed from a self infflicted doing and not just through infection, meaning, if you shove something up the urethra, you can well do some serious harm to the lining giving rise to complications. Poking inside is something you should never do to avoid inflammation, which more times than not will cause discharge.
You need to double check to be certain the discharge is coming from the urethral opening, (hole in the top of the penis) rather than from a sore spot under the foreskin.
Just like women men like to use their manly products too, to smell nice, but because of the area we speak about sometimes natural odour is your safest bet. Antiseptics, scented bubble baths or strong perfumed soaps can irritate the urethra.
You shouldn't ignore a penis discharge. In fact you shouldn't ignore anything unusual around your mebs. Even though there might be a simple explanation why you have some sort of oddity down below, there is always the possibility it might need medical attention.
Remember chlamydia and gonorrhoea can be easily treated with antibiotics. It's just a matter of you telling your doctor and him/her prescribing them. Keeping stum about your problems can only cause more problems later down the line.
