Michael Douglas Has Throat Tumour Douglas to Undergo Radiation & Chemotherapy but Optimistic

Michael Douglas has a throat tumor: Douglas son of the late great screen legend Kirk Douglas has been diagnosed with a tumor, and is preparing himself for many tiring weeks ahead throughout his course of treatment. Of course this is a worrying time for Michael and his wife Catherine Zeta Jones, and his children but the 65-year-old super star says he expects to make a full recovery after his treatment comes to an end and his condition is cured.
The Academy Award-winning actor's treatment has already been scheduled, but details is yet to unfold as to where and when he will being seeing his doctors Close sources to the actor at this time has refused to give the location or say where he would be treated.
Michael in an interview with a leading magazine said that he is staying optimistic. It was his publicist's assistant Eli Barach that confirmed Douglas has a throat tumour which has come as a great shock to those close to him and all his fans.
Douglas won an Oscar for "Wall Street" and appears this autumn in the sequel, "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps." The actor over the years has become just as big and famous as dad was. Both men were not only famous for their acting talent but for their dimple on the chin. Many people will remember Michael more for his role as sidekick to Karl Malden in "Streets of San Franciso".
Michael and his Welsh wife Catherine Zeta-Jones bought a house in Bermuda ten years ago and Zeta-Jones said they planned to raise their two children there.
